High School Reunions, ha.
Tonight is my mom’s 30 year high school reunion, and this got me thinking.
…
3 reasons why I’ll never attend a high school reunion.
1) If I wanted to keep in touch with someone from High School ……I most likely have. In fact, if we need a 30 year reunion to rekindle our friendship….. we should probably just stay Facebook friends, and I’ll secretly unsubscirbe.
2) People only go to these functions to show how great they’ve become. Hello superficial “I’m so happy and successful” conversations. Honestly, why would an unemployed, divorced, 40 pound overweight, “I can count the hairs on your head with one hand” former cool kid show up?…..
3) I have much more important things to do, like watch paint dry or save the whales. AND if I feel like joining the festivities I can go watch high school musical, or something.
Haven’t you spent the past 30 years trying to forget these people?????
